Ticket Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, possessing, or using a ticket for the Kiwi Steel Rodeo Monster Truck & FMX Show ("Event"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, the venue rules, and any instructions issued by Event management, venue staff, security personnel, or emergency services.
2. Ticket Sales
All tickets are sold subject to availability.
Tickets may only be purchased through authorised ticket sellers, including Flicket.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain without the prior written consent of the Event organiser.
The Event organiser reserves the right to cancel any ticket that has been resold in breach of these terms.
3. Entry Conditions
A valid ticket must be presented for entry.
Tickets may be presented electronically or in printed form.
Patrons may be required to provide proof of age or identity upon request.
Entry may be refused or revoked without refund for any person who:
Is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Engages in disorderly, offensive, dangerous, or unlawful behaviour.
Refuses to comply with venue rules, security checks, or directions from Event staff.
4. Children
Children must hold a valid ticket where applicable.
Children under 16 years of age must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for the conduct and safety of children attending the Event.
5. Safety Warning
Monster truck, freestyle motocross, and stunt performances involve loud noises, engines, pyrotechnics, dust, flying debris, and other potentially hazardous activities.
Patrons attend at their own risk.
Hearing protection is strongly recommended, particularly for young children.
Patrons must remain behind designated barriers and comply with all safety announcements and instructions.
6. Prohibited Items
The following items may not be brought into the Event unless authorised by the Event organiser:
Weapons of any kind.
Fireworks, flares, lasers, or explosive devices.
Illegal substances.
Drones or remote-controlled aircraft.
Items that may endanger performers, staff, or other patrons.
Any item deemed unsafe by Event management.
7. Photography and Recording
Personal photography and video recording are permitted unless otherwise advised.
Commercial photography, filming, recording, live streaming, or broadcasting is prohibited without prior written approval from the Event organiser.
The Event organiser reserves the right to confiscate or remove unauthorised recording equipment.
8. Event Changes and Cancellation
The Event organiser reserves the right to alter the advertised programme, schedule, performers, attractions, or venue where reasonably necessary.
The Event may be delayed, interrupted, postponed, or cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, venue issues, government requirements, or circumstances beyond the organiser's reasonable control.
Refunds will be provided in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law and the Event organiser's published refund policy.
9. Refund Policy
Refunds will not be provided for change of mind, inability to attend, late arrival, or failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If the Event is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders may be entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid, excluding any non-refundable third-party booking fees where permitted by law.
If the Event is postponed, tickets may remain valid for the rescheduled date.
10. Assumption of Risk
Attendance at the Event involves inherent risks associated with motorsport and stunt entertainment.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, patrons acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand legislation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Event organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, theft, or expense arising from attendance at the Event, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
12. Media Consent
By entering the Event, patrons acknowledge that photographs, video recordings, or live broadcasts may capture their image, likeness, or voice.
Patrons grant the Event organiser the right to use such recordings for promotional, marketing, advertising, and archival purposes without compensation.
13. Venue Rules
Patrons must comply with all venue rules, signage, and directions from Event staff.
The Event organiser reserves the right to remove any person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, offensive, or likely to impact the enjoyment or safety of others.
14. Privacy
Personal information collected during the ticket purchasing process will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 and the privacy policies of Flicket and the Event organiser.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes arising in relation to the Event or these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
